Three Months Off
Three Months Off is an acoustic duo consisting of Jeff Rone and Lane Halterman. Jeff and Lane have known each other for many years, having grown up in the same hometown (Westerville, Ohio) and attending the same church. After they "grew up" they reconnected to lead a contemporary worship service together in north Columbus. After a few years of playing praise and worship music together, someone asked if they could put together a set list to play a private party in the summer. Both being teachers, they jumped at the chance to spend some of their summer working on non-church songs and had an absolute blast playing for their friends. This led to the two deciding that they needed to do this more often, and Three Months Off was born!
While the two continued to lead worship together, over the past few years the two have set up gigs around Columbus playing patios in the summer, coffee shops in the spring and fall, and even had a few bar gigs in the winter.
The band acoustically covers popular music that everyone knows and loves, including songs from The Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Michael Buble, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Steve Miller Band, Green Day, Darius Rucker, Hootie and the Blowfish, Mumford and Sons, Bob Dylan, Bruno Mars, Counting Crows, Eagle Eye Cherry, Neil Diamond, and many more!
The band runs all of their equipment through their own sound board, so they are able to play virtually any venue regardless of size or acoustic set up.
